My latest work (Bicyclists) itself is a unique hybrid of painting and sculpture. It is painted on wood, and there is a contradiction between the flatness and the three-dimensionality. I was inspired while working in a restaurant in New York and looking outside of the restaurant at Chinese delivery guys who would have several bags in their hands and a cigarette in the mouth (which they cannot even take while they are on the bike). I found the wood on the street, where these bicyclists also rode.
